So what is Tehachapi Mountain Voice?
In an effort to spread the word about all the great upcoming community events and news going on in the greater Tehachapi area, we are creating this content as an electronic audio media format, in the form of a podcast. Â The podcast will allow community agencies and community groups to communicate upcoming events, City Council meetings, recycling days, seasonal festivals, news, and other information to the residents and businesses of the Tehachapi area.

To provide some background I am owner of Waves of Tech Business Information Systems located here in Tehachapi and I also own Productions, one of the top rated Podcast and Internet Broadcasting networks.

August 2013
- For those who have lived in Tehachapi for 40 years or more there is the Old Timer’s Picnic  The catered event begins Aug 4th 10 AM at West park Activity Center.  Call TVRPD for reservations at 822-3228.  Cost is 15.00 per person.
- Savor the Flavor – Previously know as the Tehachapi Food & Wine Festival, Savor the Flavor is Aug 4th 6 PM at Centennial Plaza. Experience the beauty of downtown Tehachapi at dusk, while blues music, amazing food, wine  and craft beer delights your senses!  Only 650 tickets will be sold so get over to Savor The Flavor for more information and tickets.
- Comin around the mountain, 50 years and countin.  Yes it’s time for Tehachapi Mountain Festival 17 & 18 August. Produced by The Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce our yearly festive event.  Parades, Rodeo, a car show, arts and craft and entertainment it’s the spectacle of the year.  We will talk about it in more detail in next episode of Tehachapi Mountain Voice however for further information go to Tehachapi Mountain Festival or contact the Chamber.
