In this edition of Tehachapi Mountain Voice we cover the Best of Tehachapi 2013, Veterans Weekend, Halloween and recreational events.
Veterans Weekend
•   Sixth annual Veterans Day assembly at Tehachapi High school.  All Veterans are welcome to attend.
•   Nov 11th the American Legion will perform a flag ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Monument 10:45 AM.
Halloween
•   Sponsored by Main Street Tehachapi, Downtown Trunk or Treat & Carnival.  Thursday Oct 31st from 5-7 pm along Robinson Street.  This year there will also be a carnival in Centennial Plaza.
•   Stallion Springs is also holding trunk -or-treat on Oct. 31 at 6:15 pm-check FB for more info and call the CSD to sign up
•   Youth basketball signups are continuing.  Practice begins the first week of December.
•   Adult Basketball open gym.  Sundays 5:30-8:30 PM.  Cost $3.00 at West Park Activity Center
•   Ballroom Dancing begins Oct. 28th and will be at the West Park Activity center
•   Zumba at Monroe school gym every M-W-F check website for times and cost.

Warrior football
The Warriors easily beat North 42-7 with 5 running touchdowns by Slylar Valencia. Â Next game is home against Foothill.
